Thursday, right?
Apr. 7th, 2005 08:11 amI think. Tired this morning. Very tired. I am however already at work. Well, at the hotel where we're doing this CMMI stuff. It's fun, mostly. No really.
Except that I was wired last night and didn't sleep well, but eh, it happens. Made it to work in one piece, that's good. So, breakfast is waiting on me, though I thought I'd wait for someone else to arrive before I start in on more than just coffee. I'm way early today. On the other hand, this means I actually have the network connection for a bit. It's not a bad thing.
Last class of the term last night - so now the classes are completely finished. Just gotta finish up the research essay and I'll be done. It still seems like a big thing, but not so big as it used to seem. I can chop it off at the knees and deal with it. One step at a time.
It's a little odd to be the only one in this room. It feels rather like I might be in the wrong place or something. But I'm not, I know I'm not, and I got some work done already, which is a good thing. I still would rather win a lottery and not have to work, but I will just have to deal with the realities of life, much as I'd rather not.

Date: 2005-04-08 02:27 pm (UTC)So, what's going on?
(It has occurred to me that I need to take my kitties to the vet on the 16th for their annual checkup. And pick up Arwen77 on the 17th for 4pm at the airport. But we could perhaps get the negotiations with Siylvane done that weekend, whichever game we are playing....? What do you think?)

Date: 2005-04-09 02:34 pm (UTC)Ah yes. Thursday night.
It had been a helluva day. I was awaiting my surgery appointment on Friday -- which, honestly, I had told no one about in case it didn't happen -- and I spent the evening talking with Willow... which lead to a possible business opportunity. Dunno if it'll go anywhere, but we're going to sit down and write a full business plan around it and take it to outside professional advisors for critique and advice. So, with luck and decent planning, there's a chance we can make it work. Of course, it's nothing to quit our day jobs over, but it seems like a good side occupation.
Thus, when I got home on Thurday night, I was bouncing all over the place with creativity and apprehension. Sleep that night was purely the result of an exhausted body overcoming a psyched up mind. (Fortunately, it did.)
So, I guess that's what's been going on.
As for the play... I think I'm confused. When do the cats have to be at the vet's? We can easily enough confine our play to Saturday, so you've got the time to go do everything you need in terms of picking up your fiance on Sunday. That's no problem. It's just a case of deciding what time willl be best to start.
If we do Eberron, it's a whole lot easier to confine it to a small time space. Three or four hour sessions are about what we're averaging. So, I'm good with that if everyone else is.

Date: 2005-04-09 04:44 pm (UTC)Fair enough. ON the other hand, I know there's some scenes sans Demnor that need to be played.

Date: 2005-04-09 04:42 pm (UTC)Not that I didn't have time. See, I'm free from the time I return the cats home from the vet, until 3pm on Sunday ...
