Now I have to try and remember the context of my original post...
Ah yes. Thursday night.
It had been a helluva day. I was awaiting my surgery appointment on Friday -- which, honestly, I had told no one about in case it didn't happen -- and I spent the evening talking with Willow... which lead to a possible business opportunity. Dunno if it'll go anywhere, but we're going to sit down and write a full business plan around it and take it to outside professional advisors for critique and advice. So, with luck and decent planning, there's a chance we can make it work. Of course, it's nothing to quit our day jobs over, but it seems like a good side occupation.
Thus, when I got home on Thurday night, I was bouncing all over the place with creativity and apprehension. Sleep that night was purely the result of an exhausted body overcoming a psyched up mind. (Fortunately, it did.)
So, I guess that's what's been going on.
As for the play... I think I'm confused. When do the cats have to be at the vet's? We can easily enough confine our play to Saturday, so you've got the time to go do everything you need in terms of picking up your fiance on Sunday. That's no problem. It's just a case of deciding what time willl be best to start.
If we do Eberron, it's a whole lot easier to confine it to a small time space. Three or four hour sessions are about what we're averaging. So, I'm good with that if everyone else is.
