whee - fun

Circus yesterday - oh the sore tummy from laughing. Course I have a sore throat this morning, not sure why...

Next Circus session June 1.

Rescheduled with the Mav so that's good!

Computer woes - lesigh. Lotro hates me. or something. But the new computer has 4Gb RAM, nVidia 9600NT (I think) video card with 512mb RAM. 500GB hard drive. It's a nice machine, except that something somewhere does not like Lotro. Or vice versa. I get in, start playing, the screen goes black though I can still here the sounds. I can't get to any other windows. And then my monitor gives me a No Signal and the only thing I can do is reboot the computer. Very aggravating. I've updated to the latest video driver and the latest version of DirectX 9.0c. *grumbles*

Well, I guess I might have to open a ticket with Tech support on this one. Cause ow.

The magnolias are not yet planted, and I've discovered that I wasn't as observant as I should have been at the nursery. Cause the teenager who was loading the stuff into my car - pine nuggets instead of plain cedar mulch, and plain cedar mulch instead of red cedar mulch. Shoulda been paying more attention, definitely.

ah well, I might be able to make it work. Though the problem is that the front garden will look odd with a different colour mulch or pine bark stuff tossed in with all that red. Maybe I can return it for the right stuff? I don't know...

Try accessing your firewall exceptions list and include these:

turbinelauncher.exe
lotroclient.exe

They need full access to the internet.

Read: Here and Here for more information on what your problem might be...

Hope this helps with your game *snugs*

*grins*

That's already done. Both those files are in the exceptions list. (I been checking out the forums .... )

Also I have updated my Directx 9.0c drivers and my video card drivers.

Oh yeah - one more thing to check - antivirus.

Could it be your screensaver engaging and locking the system up?

That's another good thought. I'll have to check that too.
