Good, bad and indifferent?

So, let's see... I managed to go yesterday evening with no BSOD. Yay. Course, that was by turning off lots of apps and doing the bare minimum. No LOTRO at all.

I looked up memtest, as provided by insaint... only it needs a flippy disk and I don't have any in the house. And I bugged akestevenabout it... she said to try reseating the memory sticks (and write down the types/speeds/etc to see if there could be any conflicts there). Alright then. I can try that tonight I think. See if that helps any.

Oh, and anahita? Just cause we work in computers doesn't mean they never break for us! It just means that we sometimes can fix it when that happens. ;)

Depending on how you work with computers, they might actually be breaking more often as a result of excessive tinkering. :)

Also, if you have USB key, you can try dropping the program on it and seeing if your BIOS supports emulating a USB drive as A:.
