Feb. 4th, 2002 01:37 pmUhm, so ... this weekend?
Cross country skiing for the first time this year. Only did Pleasure Valley's Green Trail. 2km. The snow was very crusty, and snowplowing was incredibly difficult. The weather was beautiful though, and both Mom and I were itching to go on the Blue Trail (8km). However, in deference to Ariel's sore muscles - she did great considering she'd been cross country skiing only once 15 years ago or so! - and the yucky conditions, we refrained. Well, that and Mom had to get home so Dad didn't have to cook dinner for the guests all by himself. *grins*
Also rearranged the TV room and put away the last of the Christmas decorations. Except the wreath on the door. Well, we forgot it, but it's inside now. It just has to be put away.
Was nicely surprised in RP ... new alts are fun, specially when they're someone else's and I wasn't expecting them. *beams and bounces* Yay! Though it amazed me how it suddenly seemed as though my Accepted had two warders. When she doesn't have any technically. It's probably a good thing she wants to follow in Christabel Sedai's footsteps, all things considered.
Plotting ... oh yes, well, I was having too much fun playing to plot too much. Leafshimmer is out of wrapstuff. Yasmin got totally picked on ... pooor Yas. *grins* I can't help but wonder what will happen next in the ongoing soap opera. Oh yes, and paint balls made it to Babylon 5.
Meanwhile, the Superbowl made neat background noise. I still am only aware that New England won 20-17 or something like that. And that's only cause they told me on the radio this morning. Euphrates was right, the commercials were funny.
Channel 24 also makes good background noise. Shows the cameras on the highways too, which is useful in the mornings.

Date: 2002-02-05 10:53 am (UTC)Oh, that's what I expected, if ever you created an alt there. I just wasn't expecting you were actually doing so.
So, when I saw you logged on and IC, it greatly amazed and gladdened me.
Ain't life strange?

Date: 2002-02-05 10:53 am (UTC)No, not many chances of that happening, I know. Or, you could be a good boy and join the Dark Side!
Re:
Date: 2002-02-05 10:56 am (UTC)Oh right ... then he'd be chasing Yas...

Date: 2002-02-05 11:07 am (UTC)Just think how that'd add to the ongoing drama...
Re:
Date: 2002-02-05 11:19 am (UTC)You mean it's not bad enough already? I mean, just wait until she goes to ask Aesher if it's true that Kianna is a cannibal... and if he is too.

On a random note, we should play that Harry Potter Trivia thing on Sunday.
Re:
Date: 2002-02-05 11:43 am (UTC)Oh sure.
Just cause I can't remember anything that happened in "The Philosopher's Stone" any more.

Date: 2002-02-05 11:58 am (UTC)Well, then. So much the better. I'll actually have a chance of winning, unlike in Phase 10. :P
Re:
Date: 2002-02-05 12:16 pm (UTC)Oh phooey. You have a chance of winning Phase 10. If my Mom is there, we'll have to let her choose what game we play. Oh, and Ariel won't be there. it's Chinese New Year, so she's going home for the weekend.

Date: 2002-02-05 01:01 pm (UTC)Well, um.. considering how Christabel Sedai ended, it might not be such a good thing after all. :)
