At least it wasn't a moose
but a deer was bad enough. Don't know how bad the damage is, but my car is at the bodyshop, getting looked at.
11pm. foggy night. country road. Deer darts across, right in front of my car. Oops?
Yes, I hit a deer. But I'm okay, the deer just kept going. NO idea where it ended up. My car on the other hand is not happy at all.
I visited some relatives last night, which is why i only was headed home at 11pm... oh, and for those of you who know ... the deer was right on Shoalpoint.
Sigh ...
OKay, I want my estimates and rental car information ...

For some reason, this is the time of year when deer go absolutely crazy. When I hit a deer a few years back it was a little after Hallowe'en. In my case, the stupid thing stood by the side of the road just looking at traffic. I got as far away from that side as I could (while remaining in my lane) and it STILL lunged out right when I got to it, like it had a death wish or something.
Deer are just crazy. I hope the damage was minimal...

Then I'll have to see how things go ...
Not even any venison out of the darn thing. Botheration.

OR was it just body panel damage? Either way, I'm certainly glad you're okay... 'specially with both of our sensations of impending accidents a few weeks back!
