Amusing note for the day

One of my advisors for our 601 project sent this in an email:

"Maybe we should just meet virtually. A multiplayer 601 MUD-room."

Colour me amused that the fellow knows what a MUD is!

Yeah, but too many of my team mates would say that it's inefficient and not a good way to communicate. ;)

I suppose it depends on what they expect to accomplish. And how quick they are to pick up the user commands. Okay. And, maybe how fast they type.

Though, I suspect it's more to do with the fact that they prefer the immediacy of face-to-face.

And I can't blame them for that.
