Got a flu shot today. Go me. (Or as someone pointed out in irritation one day, it's a flu vaccination. Yes, it is. But needles are colloquially called shots, and to get a vaccination, most times you need a needle. Give it up, elitest snob.)

Right then. RP last night - Fun on RS. There was a riot. Oops? Poor Jen will have a sore back for 6 weeks. But she got off easy. And then there was AJ. Ow. Just ... ow.

No rp elsewhere, cause I was working on the joy and bliss of school stuff. And Aunt Jean and Jess stopped by briefly. They brought my new tv stand, so that's good. Bad news - it's in a box and I have to put it together. Good news? It's supposedly easy to put together, and I should have help this weekend to get the tv atop its stand.

And Taliesin is a brat. Oh wait, that's not news. Hopefully he decides he really doesn't want to chew the tv cords, or I might have to kill him yet.

Personally, I've always thought of it like this: you get the flu shot, meaning that you shoot the flu in the foot, so to speak. Plus, the vaccine contains some flu virus, so a "flu shot" is technically accurate no matter how you look at it. =)
