Passing magic number 20 ...
Oct. 3rd, 2000 03:40 pmWell, this might be time for a party, or something. After all, I finally made it to entry number 21 in this journal.
I'm aggravated and annoyed with work. It keeps getting in my way. Even though I like most of the people here, right at the moment, I wish I could just make them all go away.
*sigh*
And on top of it all, how much does anyone want to bet that by the time I get home from work, all those playing folks will be gone?
*POUT*
You know, I think there's depression shooting through that link now. And it's nastily contagious.
Must /do/ something about that... time to buy a lottery ticket I think. Cause if I have a million dollars, can anyone guess what I'd do?

Then you will never ever work again, right?
Oh, and I'm here. You're stuck with me. Hell, I could even play for a change ;)
Unless I actually manage to fall asleep..
Re:

I'd probably spend it all :oD
Re:
Date: 2000-10-03 03:25 pm (UTC)That was the point, actually. I wasn't looking for enough to live comfortably off of, just to splurge...
Re:
Date: 2000-10-03 03:46 pm (UTC)And what would you splurge on? Because anyone who's thought that far has done the what-would-I-spend-it-on daydream. ;o)
Re:
Date: 2000-10-03 03:59 pm (UTC)Oh, see previous post to Alery.
I'd spend it on friends and family and plane tickets and touring the world.
And maybe pay off my mortgage.
Re:
Date: 2000-10-03 04:03 pm (UTC)I'd pay off my Mum's mortgage ;o>
Then move to the US.. £60,000 pays for four years tutition at a US uni...
Just think, having me around for four years. ;o>

*grin*
(Nope, no ulterior motives here.)
Re:
Date: 2000-10-03 04:14 pm (UTC)Oh, probably. ;o>
I'd certainly love to be around to be able to try. ;o)
Night-night dear.

Date: 2000-10-04 01:51 am (UTC)Not your fault. Not a problem. And I'm thinking yesterday was just an off-colour day for the entire link. The whole kit and caboodle.
Me, I was ticked off, justifiably so, with too many people at work, all at once.
Timing is everything, isn't it?
