In the Comfy Chair

It's a really nice chair, though I wouldn't want to sleep in it. *grins* Step one of the house redesign project complete. Okay, it's probably not really step one, but that's close enough this morning.

The computer room is a lovely shade of blue (Thanks, Mom!). So, I have to remove the tape off the trim, tape the floor and the walls around the trim, and get to trim painting today. I would like to get the primer and at least one coat of yellow today. Maybe even 2 coats of yellow, if I'm ambitious. The idea at any rate is to finish the painting in the room /this/ weekend.

And I need to visit Home Depot this weekend too, because I need to make sure that when things go back into this room, they go back in some semblance of order, rather than the mish-mash they were before. Preferably with all nicely protected wires so that brat cat Taliesin can't chew them, even if he somehow does get in there.

That is the plan anyway.

First conference call for today is over. Next is at 9am. Coffee tastes really good about now.

Conference calls this time of the morning on a weekend? Uuugh. I'm just looking forward to driving home and crashing in my bed. *snugs*

Actually, yeah. But see, I don't have it as bad as the folks who started work at noon yesterday and were on the call this morning having worked all night. ;)

Software implementation has to go during system down times, after all.

A nap already sounds good - but I have a 9am conference call too.

Yep, that it does. We had a guy in a similar situation the other day due to various folks resigning and such. He was definitely feeling it when he came in in the morning after he was stuck as the on-call the previous night.
