The sound I woke up to this morning? Clomp, clomp, clomp, clomp, silence, pad, pad pad, clomp, clomp,clomp....
Go on, take a guess. I dare you. Okay, never mind, I'll just tell you. :) Turns out that Taliesin and Terry-cat have taken to chasing each other around the house. And they both sound like a herd of elephants at ungodly (and ungoddessly) hours of the morning.
