Just a thought

Ah for the money that certain athletes make. It must be nice in some ways, to be like Vince Carter, and to be able to say, "That's it, I'm not going to do slam dunks any more. They're over-rated." Even if that is a large part of what you're getting paid millions of dollars for.

Okay, so this is just what I heard on the news, and it is probably out of context. Well, hopefully. If not, I'm very disappointed. The man seems to be (and since he wants apparently to leave Toronto, none of our media types are giving him a break at all, I'm sure) 28 going on 8.

I wonder just how much of that is media bias, and how much is really what is happening.

NBA athletes are the worst of the spoiled brats, frankly. Have been for a long time. Take a look at that brawl in Detroit with the Pistons and Pacers. Quite frankly, that would never happen in baseball or football (if only for survival's sake on the part of the football fan). And in hockey you have glass between the fans and players.

It's a big reason I don't follow basketball at all. Bunch of spoiled babies. @#:+P
