Well... And well again...

So, here I am getting started on chores when my Mom calls. She's at the cottage with my dad, you see, and it turns out they had a phone call. From the Vet. Asking them if they know where Merlin is. Which they don't of course because he ran away from my house and wouldn't. come. back.

Anyway, turns out the vet does know where he is, because someone called the Vet today.

*beams*

Merlin is home safe now!!!!

Yay!!! I'm so very happy. Turns out the brat had gone one block or so to the east and he couldn't apparently figure out how to get back to my place. The woman there nabbed him and brought him to Oshawa to a lady who boards cats and who could hopefully find him a good home. She noticed he had a collar and tag, so she called the number on the tag, thus starting the circle of phone calls.

Then I went and picked up Merlin. He's a little hissy at the moment, but he'll get over that.

Poor guy.

I'm so very glad he's home!

*grins* He's a brat cat, but I'm glad too. Mom and Dad will pick him up tomorrow on their way home from the cottage. Course, they'll have to find him, snoozing in my closet, first!

But it's a very big relief.
