Monday in Norway
It's just as cloudy here as it was back home. Though hopefully they have better weather there today. They were supposed to.
Parts of this place remind me of Northern Ontario. Lots of green and huge slate rock type things at the sides of the roads, not to mention water everywhere. Course, the hills here are taller than the Canadian Shield, but there are distinct similarities.
People are nice, but Norwegian is still difficult to understand. At least spoken is. The written has many words that are French spelling or close to English, so that is sometimes easier to figure out. Because you know, pommes frites is pronounced pomfrey. Or at least, that's how my ears heard it.
Go figure.

I'm having fun already. What are you up to these days? Haven't heard from you in a while.

Ive been online a few times, but noone is ever around. Alery says I should go to RS, but I just dunno if I have enough time to dedicate to a new character at this point.
All is well on my end. Hope your doing well :)

The cats definitely miss you. When Alery and I went to tend them yesterday, neither Apache nor Chey would leave us for very long though Chey would leave us long enough to go to the back door and yowl vainly for freedom.
But, we watered the garden and applied the weed-kill and bug-kill stuff.
Though, um, I think something's wrong with your garage door opener...

Something's wrong with the garage door opener?
How do you mean?
Thanks for the garden and the kitty cats. I'm sure they appreciate it, even if they don't know it. ;)

As for the garage door opener... it stopped working. We don't know why. We just know that we eventually had to pull the red lever and close it the old fashioned way...
I'm going to ask

That's not a good thing, really. It might need a new battery, I suppose. Or are you using the right one? There were two on the shelf, by the door. One hasn't worked in months (because Akesteven broke it). But the other one works just fine.

And we've considered it might be batteries. Just haven't gotten any, yet. (Partly 'cause I couldn't figure out what sort it needed. I'm guessing triple A.)

But, it wouldn't close.
We looked to make sure nothing impeded the track or the sensors. But, we just didn't find anything.
I intend to keep trying to figure it out, however.
