Oww

Okay, weather turned last night, giving me a headache.

In other news, I should have my passport July 5. Which is plenty of time before July 17, when I leave for Norway.

*grins*

Okay, yes I am looking forward to that little trip. Go figure.

Advantaged the kitties last night and this morning. That's one thing off the list. And I need to take my car in to get oil changed this weekend. I should call and see if I can't get an appointment.

RP got paused, but Elyse was all babbly (well, as babbly as she ever gets) over meeting Morgan's descendents. Lace would be impressed. :) That's the only screen I pulled up for RP, because I started working on chargen for Sovyan. Owww. Okay, the numbers are easy to figure out, but even with the pdf of the core rules book, I'm having trouble figuring out what to do. What artifacts? What hearthstones? What? What? What? Heck if I know. It's enough to make me decide to give the girl money and a tiger and give up the rest. *laughs* Okay, maybe razor claws and armor, but really... Actually, armor does make sense, doesn't it? Hrm...

In other news ... owwwww, my head hurts.

I'm not sure, but I think, given what Eus did with Rya before I went to bed last night, that the armour you get depends somewhat on your Resources score. I'm not sure, though... I just know I got this chainmail shirt thingy that can be concealed under my clothes and incurs no mobility or strength/stamina/endurance penalties. And my 3-dots in Resources was enough to pay for it. Oh. And I got a magic sword.

*grins* And a 'stone Solara would love, I'm sure. (It's a Universal Translator! With it, Rya can speak and understand any language she hears. Though, she can't read it.)

However, I got all my numbers settled last night — magic toys included. Only got the charms thingy to work out, I'm told, and I gotta get the bg actually typed out and ready for tweaking.

But, yes. Hurts head muchly, that stuff does... Even without the weather to add to the sorry mix.

I think I gotta get me that book. *sigh* I wonder where I can buy it...

Gotta say, though... Why does, given the snippets I've seen, Sov remind me somewhat of Viv? *grin*

*laughs*

Hey now, shhh! Sov is even from the Howling Tigers...

*dies laughing* Well, alright then... Good to know.

(Nope. Never "just a simple character". Not a hope in the world.)

*smiles sweetly*

Oh, and as for the armor - it depends on whether you're buying armor or you have armor that's an artifact...

[identity profile] wolfcat.livejournal.com 2004-06-17 09:56 am (UTC)(link)
Well, yes. I suppose that's true enough...

I dunno much 'bout anything, at this point. 'Cept I do know I'm terribly confused about the whole thing.

*grins*

Ys, me too. and I have the darn pdf and can read it.;)

Ah well. An excuse to nail Eus later. ;)

Heh. Well, you're making a Martial Artist, right? Most Martial Artists, when using their charms, can't use armor, as it's incompatible with their charms.

They do have charms, however, that act like armor.

How about hearthstones that act like armour?
