Yup, It's a Monday...
May. 17th, 2004 10:43 amI know it's a Monday, because I walked by our tech support fellow this morning.
"Good morning, how are you doing?" I asked, as bright and cheery as I could manage before my morning coffee.
"I'm barely alive," he mumbled, as he kept on going...
Yup, it's Monday.

And while I admit that it's not even half as scarily tigger-bouncy perky as your after-coffee as-bright-and-cheery-as-you-can-manage demeanor, it's still more than enough to send a poor, bleary-eyed tech running for a dark , dark place to hide in...
*snicker/grin* Ah, morning cheefulness: one of the most powerful, most often overlooked weapons in the workplace arsenal. *beams* Well done.
(Poor guy.)

Date: 2004-05-17 11:04 am (UTC)Reminds me of a guy in my line last week. He walked up with a coffee and some other minor thing and cheerfully asked how I was doing. I said 'not bad, how are you?'
His response was, "I'm alive, so that's good."
... that'll be $1.10, please. Thanks. *chuckle*
