Snow Today?

Well, that's what the weather dudes said. We'll see how much, when it gets here and if they're anywhere near right. I've heard everything from flurries to 25cm. I really hope we don't get 25cm. That will hurt, going home tonight.

It has also occurred to me that I have one month left of classes. 3 more Organizational Behaviour classes, and 4 more finance classes (+the final exam). I am going to have to be somewhat scarce for the next while, so I can do a billion or more finance problems and work myself into passing this course.

But then ... it will be over.

Puzzle
What one three-letter syllable can be placed in the blanks below to make four different words?

ING.

And I heard 5-10 cm in the next 24 hours.

*grins* Yes, that's the correct puzzle answer. I've heard 3cm in Toronto proper, with more snow in the surrounding area. Up to 25cm in the Niagara Peninsula. And everywhere from 3-25cm in the rest of the area.

Go figure.

[identity profile] insaint.livejournal.com 2004-03-16 06:08 am (UTC)(link)
Yeowch. Glad to be in Toronto proper. *grin*

[identity profile] damara.livejournal.com 2004-03-16 06:43 am (UTC)(link)
I'm just waiting to see if they get it right.

[identity profile] insaint.livejournal.com 2004-03-16 06:43 am (UTC)(link)
Well, they /are/ the weather people... so, probably not. You know, maybe I should go into meteorology. Then I could be wrong half the time and still keep my job. *grin*

[identity profile] damara.livejournal.com 2004-03-16 06:45 am (UTC)(link)
*laughs*

Now there's a thought. Though baseball is better. You can miss 2/3 of the time and still be great. :)

[identity profile] insaint.livejournal.com 2004-03-16 06:47 am (UTC)(link)
*snickers* True, but baseball requires infinitely more effort.

[identity profile] damara.livejournal.com 2004-03-16 07:26 am (UTC)(link)
Well, true. *grins*

[identity profile] mistdragon.livejournal.com 2004-03-16 06:22 am (UTC)(link)
For the record, I was going to guess ING as well ;)

No snow here in Oshawa as of yet. (prays for it to go away)

[identity profile] insaint.livejournal.com 2004-03-16 06:23 am (UTC)(link)
*grin* We believe you.

[identity profile] damara.livejournal.com 2004-03-16 06:43 am (UTC)(link)
No snow in Mississauga yet either. But I can let you know when it starts here.

[identity profile] wolfcat.livejournal.com 2004-03-16 06:33 am (UTC)(link)
I heard that the dumping of snow is supposed to be in Mississauga and west of here. But, that we still may end up with 2-3 inches... Any way you look at it, it sucks, if you ask me. Spring is supposed to be here in 4 days.

Oh, and speaking of Spring... Puzzle: ING.

[identity profile] wolfcat.livejournal.com 2004-03-16 06:34 am (UTC)(link)
PS. You want the icon for the next month (or however long)? *grin*

[identity profile] insaint.livejournal.com 2004-03-16 06:46 am (UTC)(link)
*grin* The animated was more amusing... even if perhaps a little over the top.

[identity profile] wolfcat.livejournal.com 2004-03-16 06:49 am (UTC)(link)
Which animated?

She can't have the "sigh" icon. She can have the "I don't want any homework" icon, though...

And it is not over the top... Some days.

[identity profile] insaint.livejournal.com 2004-03-16 06:50 am (UTC)(link)
The "I don't want any homework" icon when it was animated and with extra "I don't want any ..." stuff.

[identity profile] wolfcat.livejournal.com 2004-03-16 07:15 am (UTC)(link)
It still is animated... Or should be.

[identity profile] insaint.livejournal.com 2004-03-16 07:16 am (UTC)(link)
Hrm. Weird. It was and then it stopped, for me.

[identity profile] wolfcat.livejournal.com 2004-03-16 07:22 am (UTC)(link)
Yep. That's what happens to me on my machine at home. It's terribly aggravating.

[identity profile] insaint.livejournal.com 2004-03-16 07:18 am (UTC)(link)
And now it is again. *kicks whoever's responsible.*

[identity profile] damara.livejournal.com 2004-03-16 07:27 am (UTC)(link)
It is on my screen. Though not in the email version. :)

[identity profile] wolfcat.livejournal.com 2004-03-16 09:23 am (UTC)(link)
Eh. Who knows?

[identity profile] insaint.livejournal.com 2004-03-16 07:30 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah yeah... *shrugs* dunno what happened.

[identity profile] damara.livejournal.com 2004-03-16 06:50 am (UTC)(link)
Nahhh, that's too tempting. ;)

[identity profile] wolfcat.livejournal.com 2004-03-16 07:14 am (UTC)(link)
*laugh* Okay.

[identity profile] insaint.livejournal.com 2004-03-16 06:36 am (UTC)(link)
It does suck. Weather people are saying we're below average temperature for this time of year. It's supposed to be +3 or +4-ish. I guess we're paying for that +18 we got a couple weeks back?

[identity profile] wolfcat.livejournal.com 2004-03-16 06:46 am (UTC)(link)
Looks like.

[identity profile] damara.livejournal.com 2004-03-16 06:44 am (UTC)(link)
Yup, that's the right answer to the puzzle.
wibbble: A manipulated picture of my eye, with a blue swirling background. (Default)

[personal profile] wibbble 2004-03-16 01:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Ing!

Late again, though. I need to ____ing get up earlier in the ____ing day if I'm going to answer these ____ing quizzes... ;o)

[identity profile] damara.livejournal.com 2004-03-16 01:54 pm (UTC)(link)
*laughs*

Not really. So long as you don't peek, you can still answer!

And yes, that is correct!
