3. Metamorphosis.

Find a word for a cooking utensil, then add a letter to find a word that means "bridge."

Find a word that means "to move fast," then add a letter to find a Viking written character.

Thursday's answer - When I was invited for dinner, I did not expect the bizarre experience of having all the food cooked on a brazier in the middle of the room.

And yes, the answer to 2 is b.

You know what gets me the most about that answer? I remember looking at it on Thursday and, when you said "Think Circus", thinking "bizarre".

I just couldn't get "brazier". Which is astounding, since both words are very Circus...

But, then, I wasn't feeling terrific on Thursday. (That's my story and I'm sticking to it.)

You gave an excellent hint. But, there was no way in hell I was able to see "brazier" in bizarre... Despite the fact I looked at both words separately at different points. (And then decided my headache took priority over solving the "Circus" puzzle.)
