Start with the Year of the French Revolution, and subtract 10 points if Marie Antoinette could have met Benjamin Franklin. Add 40 points if she could have met Abraham Lincoln, and subtract another 10 points if Lincoln could have met Harry Truman.

What number do you get?

Yes, as I said to [livejournal.com profile] wolfcat, I'm all the search engine you'll ever need. :)

Go to bed now, dear. I'm off, too. :)

The answer is 1779.

Benjamin Franklin visited France in 1767, and later became the minister to France (1779). This actually makes it likely that Marie Antoinette met Benjamin Franklin.

Abraham Lincoln was born in 1809, whilst Marie-Antionette died in 1793, thus making it impossible for them to have met. Lincoln died in 1865, and Truman was born in 1884, and so they never met either.

And no, they did not meet in heaven either. Marie-Antoinette lived a life of sin and debauchery, and was thus sent straight to hell. Lincoln did go to heaven to meet Franklin there (Making him one of the few presidents up there), but Truman stood a snowball's chance. Since that puts them on a clear no-meeting basis, the answer would thus be 1799.
