Sunshine and cold

or cloudy, snowy and a bit warmer? I'll take the sun, thanks.

In the news, I found my gloves yesterday. They'd ended up hidden after the move out of my housemates. But they've been relocated now. This is a good thing, cause it's getting darn cold on the hands these days.

Project work progresses for Accounting, and that's good too. Tonight I try to complete my Christmas shopping, at least for all those in town. The out of town folk I intend to get gifts for might have to wait a bit.

Oh, and a parcel is apparently waiting for me at the post office. And what's worse, I apparently owe some 12$ on it somehow. That's just bizarre. I shall have to see what exactly it is, and why customs and revenue wants money from me. (Yes, I know, they always do ... but still!) I had ordered a book and I'm hoping that's what it is. My Christmas reading, you see - more Liaden stuff. *beams* If I'm lucky.

I prefer the sun, too... but I like it better when it actually warms things up.

Well, yes. But so long as it's sunny, I end up in a better mood.

Regardless of the cold.

Well, yes. I'll grant you that.

I want mittens, however. Gloves aren't cutting it.

Eh, I like my nice thick thinsulate gloves. They work for me.

I don't have a pair of those any more. They ran away. Or something... I can't find them, at least.

Well, that's something to put on your Christmas list then.

Yep. Things like that are coming out of the woodwork, it seems... Or disappearing into it.

And there's a lot of woodwork in my place.

*grins* mine too, though most of mine is on the floor. :) Lilttle buggers coming out of my woodwork makes for an interesting scenario...

*grin* Yes, it does... But, hey. It happens at my place, I swear. The room always looks messed with come moring.

Tonight while shopping... I bought a prop. You gotta see this. I swear - it's a perfect Circus prop. ;)

*laughs* Yeah? What is it?
