Sleepy

Awake though, and trying to get started on homework. Marketing first, because it's due tomorrow. Then Accounting... *sigh*

Some days I hate this going back to school thing - but I have nobody to blame but myself. And I must admit I am learning lots.

Though I'm not always convinced it's what the establishment wants me to learn.

See, this is why we must all live together, as to grump about going back to school, having only ourself to blame, and homework on Sundays.

*laughs*

Sounds good to me. Now if only we could manage it...

[identity profile] morgie.livejournal.com 2003-11-09 08:52 am (UTC)(link)
*grins* Well, lots of us are trying to move to the vague Seattle area within the next 5-6 years. ;)

[identity profile] damara.livejournal.com 2003-11-09 09:19 am (UTC)(link)
*eeps* That's a little difficult from Canada!

[identity profile] morgie.livejournal.com 2003-11-09 10:05 am (UTC)(link)
*grins* Only if you are in the middle or east side of Canada.

[identity profile] damara.livejournal.com 2003-11-09 11:09 am (UTC)(link)
Ontario... so,uhm, yeah.

[identity profile] morgie.livejournal.com 2003-11-09 11:15 am (UTC)(link)
*grin* Oohh, isn't that like way north of VA? (clueless geography-type American here, yes)

[identity profile] ringzero.livejournal.com 2003-11-09 11:57 am (UTC)(link)
All of Canada is way north of VA.

[identity profile] morgie.livejournal.com 2003-11-09 03:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Nope. A good portion of it is 'North of Washington' or 'East of Alaska'. Well, actually, all of it is east of Alaska, but still.

[identity profile] ringzero.livejournal.com 2003-11-09 05:07 pm (UTC)(link)
All of Canada is way north of VA in the same way that it's all east of alaska.

[identity profile] morgie.livejournal.com 2003-11-09 05:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Not true.

If I'm reading my maps right, you can draw a straight line up from VA and hit a certain portion vertically of Canada. A straight line from the utmost south portion of Alaska will intercept through most of the width of Canada. That width of Canada is clearly more then that height of Canada.

And yes, I am procrastinating wildly from doing my homework. How did you guess?

[identity profile] ringzero.livejournal.com 2003-11-09 05:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, parts (large parts) of Canada are not directly north of VA. But at the same time, I'm pretty sure parts of Canada are not directly east of Alaska - I'm thinking of the Maritime provinces, and well anything south of it. But we're still all north of VA and all east of Alaska.

[identity profile] morgie.livejournal.com 2003-11-09 05:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Logic shall not defeat me! I shall preveal! (damn my lack of geography and spelling abilities....)

[identity profile] morgie.livejournal.com 2003-11-09 05:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Like I said - procrastination of the homework. Any and all senseless actions apply. Except going to see Kill Bill.

[identity profile] damara.livejournal.com 2003-11-09 12:12 pm (UTC)(link)
It's directly north of New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio and parts of Michigan.

I'd say that's north of Virginia ... Kind of a bit west of it too, I think.

[identity profile] morgie.livejournal.com 2003-11-09 03:34 pm (UTC)(link)
Oohh. I know where those places are. Even been in NY, Pennsylvania and Michigan. *grin* Well, flown over that last.

[identity profile] morgie.livejournal.com 2003-11-09 05:01 pm (UTC)(link)
Yay for planes! (and trains, and even automobiles!)

[identity profile] damara.livejournal.com 2003-11-09 07:40 pm (UTC)(link)
Some of my favourite ways to travel, those are. ;)

[identity profile] morgie.livejournal.com 2003-11-09 07:47 pm (UTC)(link)
Much better then walking.
