Friday

So, night class last night was pretty fun. We did a computer simulation of a project. Course, it took an hour to go through 112 days or something like that, so it went pretty darn fast. Darn project - the last 4 tasks finished late for no reason at all. *grumbles* Random events are obnoxious.

But it was fun.

Got home, checked email and crashed. Woke up 4 minutes before the alarm went off because Taliesin decided I should. Darn it.

Ah well, it's a good thing he's a cute cat, or he'd be dead by now.

Night class tonight - it's a make up because we don't have a class on Monday. Which probably doesn't mean I get to play unfortunately. I have an assignment due tonight, one on thursday, And a big one due the thursday after that, followed by another big one the monday after that and another one the thursday after that. Then I get a bit of breathing space... Reading week.

I'll be online as I can... honest. I'm hoping for a bit of online time this weekend, but it won't be much, and it will be limited. Multitasking - gotta love it.

Oh, and it's now ... exactly 3 weeks until we will play Circus once more. ;)

I wonder when we'll get back to Cluckups...

we could do it on the same weekend, or we could do it the week after that, since it's on line anyway we don't all have to be in the same place. but whenever is ok with me, i guess it depend on you guys. except november 15, not that weekend.

[identity profile] damara.livejournal.com 2003-10-03 09:32 am (UTC)(link)
*laughs* you move nov 15, yes?

Okay... I'll have to figure out my school schedule. Remember, we have company coming the Oct. 24 weekend, so we'll be a full house. :)

[identity profile] wolfcat.livejournal.com 2003-10-03 09:41 am (UTC)(link)
Which means that weekend (Oct 24) probably isn't a great one for Cluckups.

[identity profile] damara.livejournal.com 2003-10-03 09:44 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, this is true.

We'll have to figure out schedules for me and Alery, I think...

[identity profile] wolfcat.livejournal.com 2003-10-03 10:39 am (UTC)(link)
*nods* I think so, yes.

[identity profile] damara.livejournal.com 2003-10-03 10:40 am (UTC)(link)
This is okay. It can all be worked out. ;)

[identity profile] valwoo.livejournal.com 2003-10-03 10:50 am (UTC)(link)
yes, really, the closing day is the 12, so the whole weekend is going to be all about moving.

[identity profile] wolfcat.livejournal.com 2003-10-03 10:52 am (UTC)(link)
For the record: MOVING SUCKS!

[identity profile] insaint.livejournal.com 2003-10-03 10:59 am (UTC)(link)
Amen.

[identity profile] valwoo.livejournal.com 2003-10-03 11:06 am (UTC)(link)

[identity profile] damara.livejournal.com 2003-10-03 11:11 am (UTC)(link)

Mind you, it's not me who grew feathers!

[identity profile] damara.livejournal.com 2003-10-03 11:43 am (UTC)(link)
*grins*

Hay, on the other hand, is what horses eat. :)

But that's a chicken of a different colour.

Not to mention, weight, size, and species.

Re: ducks ????

[identity profile] damara.livejournal.com 2003-10-03 01:20 pm (UTC)(link)
*laughs*

And the Fireys?

*bounces gleefully*

Re: ducks ????

[identity profile] wolfcat.livejournal.com 2003-10-03 01:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Nah. No Fireys.

They always freaked me out. ;p

Re: ducks ????

[identity profile] damara.livejournal.com 2003-10-03 01:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Darn.

Well, okay then. How about Cornish pixies?

Re: ducks ????

[identity profile] wolfcat.livejournal.com 2003-10-03 01:29 pm (UTC)(link)
*grin* Them, I like. They could go with the bogles.

Re: ducks ????

[identity profile] damara.livejournal.com 2003-10-03 01:30 pm (UTC)(link)
But not bogarts, hmmm?

Then again, facing fears and laughing at them...

*mwahahahahas*

Yes, I could see that in a magic lesson. :)

Re: ducks ????

[identity profile] wolfcat.livejournal.com 2003-10-03 01:36 pm (UTC)(link)
*grins* Of course bogarts are on the list...

As are many other things.

Re: ducks ????

[identity profile] damara.livejournal.com 2003-10-03 01:54 pm (UTC)(link)
I should loan you my care of magical creatures book. ;)

Re: ducks ????

[identity profile] wolfcat.livejournal.com 2003-10-03 01:55 pm (UTC)(link)
*snicker* Have you one?

Re: ducks ????

[identity profile] damara.livejournal.com 2003-10-03 01:57 pm (UTC)(link)
Yup. I do. Remind me, next time you're over. I actually have a couple of additional books to go along with the HP 5...

Re: ducks ????

[identity profile] wolfcat.livejournal.com 2003-10-03 01:58 pm (UTC)(link)
*laugh* Well, alright then!

Re: ducks ????

[identity profile] damara.livejournal.com 2003-10-03 01:59 pm (UTC)(link)
*grins* There's the two very short small ones that JK Rowlings did for charity - care of magical creatures and the Quidditch book. And then there's a couple others ... that were written by other authors. They're mostly on my bookshelf, I believe.

Re: ducks ????

[identity profile] wolfcat.livejournal.com 2003-10-03 02:00 pm (UTC)(link)
I've seen them in Chapters -- though I didn't note Rowling was the author of any of them. That's cool.

Re: ducks ????

[identity profile] proudsky.livejournal.com 2003-10-03 02:26 pm (UTC)(link)
*blinks*

Whats wrong with Bogart? Some of the best movies had good ol' Bogie in them ... Black and White, mind you, but still ;)

Re: ducks ????

[identity profile] damara.livejournal.com 2003-10-03 02:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Wrong Bogart. :) But that's an even funnier image!

*dies laughing, before heading for nightclass*

Re: ducks ????

[identity profile] proudsky.livejournal.com 2003-10-03 02:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Have fun :)

Re: ducks ????

[identity profile] damara.livejournal.com 2003-10-03 11:26 am (UTC)(link)
*snickers*

True. Near my place too. But I think the geese have taken over.

[identity profile] insaint.livejournal.com 2003-10-03 11:00 am (UTC)(link)
Ah well, it's a good thing he's a cute cat, or he'd be dead by now.

And he knows that and uses it to his advantage over and over again.

[identity profile] damara.livejournal.com 2003-10-03 11:12 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, Yes, he does. Rather like ... oh, the rest of the cute beings in my life. ;)

[identity profile] insaint.livejournal.com 2003-10-03 11:17 am (UTC)(link)
Mm-hmm... I'm sure. :)
