More rain

Well, it's not here yet - though it's in Waterloo, I hear, so it will be soon. Head is killing me, and very fuzzy. I'm sure it's not a good thing when looking in your rear and side view mirrors makes you dizzy, right?

Right.

But I made it to work, and even decided eventually to try a cup of coffee. I almost changed my mind when I got a bad milk thing. But I tossed that, and tried again. Why? Sheer pigheadedness, I'm sure. Well, that and my head is so fuzzy that I couldn't change my mind - there was no room in there for such a thought.

My head is fuzzy, too... And having fuzzy vision simply doesn't help.

*snugs*

Fuzzy head, fuzzy vision - you're not wearing fuzzy slippers are you?

[identity profile] wolfcat.livejournal.com 2003-09-22 07:24 am (UTC)(link)
*laugh* No. I don't own any...

I have fuzzy blankets, though!

[identity profile] damara.livejournal.com 2003-09-22 07:38 am (UTC)(link)
That's close enough.

I don't have fuzzy slippers either. I have leather bottomed isotoners, that I hardly ever wear. (And never in summer!)

Fuzzy blankets work though.

[identity profile] wolfcat.livejournal.com 2003-09-22 08:30 am (UTC)(link)
I have knitted socky slippers, that I hardly ever wear. (And never in summer.) *grin*

Fuzzy blankets are the best.

My dog is home, now. I think she was glad to see me. She was glued to my lap right up until I went to bed.

[identity profile] damara.livejournal.com 2003-09-22 08:32 am (UTC)(link)
*grins*

Pets are neat. I'm sure she did miss you. And I bet you missed her too.

Taliesin is a very goofy dog-cat.

[identity profile] wolfcat.livejournal.com 2003-09-22 11:14 am (UTC)(link)
I did miss her... But, I will likely miss her more when she's moved permanently down to Windsor. I'm already vaguely discontent about not being allowed pets where I am...

[identity profile] damara.livejournal.com 2003-09-22 11:17 am (UTC)(link)
*snugs*

You can always come snuggle the cats. I know they're not the same, but ...

[identity profile] wolfcat.livejournal.com 2003-09-22 11:24 am (UTC)(link)
I just may, at that...

Of course, I may also be coming over occasionally to beg to borrow the bath tub for a real bath. All I have in the new place is a coffin-sized shower.

Yay?

[identity profile] damara.livejournal.com 2003-09-22 11:35 am (UTC)(link)
*grins*

You can do that too. :) No problem.

[identity profile] damara.livejournal.com 2003-09-22 12:19 pm (UTC)(link)
*smiles* You're welcome.

I just got called a "breath of sunshine." Does this mean that Solara is rubbing off on me?

[identity profile] wolfcat.livejournal.com 2003-09-22 12:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Nah...

Where do you think she got it from?

[identity profile] damara.livejournal.com 2003-09-22 12:42 pm (UTC)(link)
*laughs*

I thought she got it from that ancestor who was a saint?

[identity profile] wolfcat.livejournal.com 2003-09-22 12:57 pm (UTC)(link)
*snickers* Hardly. Some of those saints were down right sour.

[identity profile] damara.livejournal.com 2003-09-22 01:09 pm (UTC)(link)
*rolls*

True enough. Though, you never know... this one might have been sunny tempered. :)

[identity profile] wolfcat.livejournal.com 2003-09-22 01:16 pm (UTC)(link)
Anything's possible... *chuckle* I think it depends if it were a "Christian saint" or a saint of some other, more forgiving discipline.

[identity profile] damara.livejournal.com 2003-09-22 01:20 pm (UTC)(link)
*snickers* Uhm ... one of the goddess' saints?

[identity profile] damara.livejournal.com 2003-09-22 08:28 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, otherwise, I'm not sure how it would work... though I wonder if it's safe to assume that Solara will never be a saint, if Iszaak has his way...

[identity profile] wolfcat.livejournal.com 2003-09-23 07:16 am (UTC)(link)
*snicker* All depends on how you define sainthood, I suppose.

[identity profile] damara.livejournal.com 2003-09-23 07:34 am (UTC)(link)
Mmm... there is that.. so .. .how does the goddess define sainthood?

[identity profile] wolfcat.livejournal.com 2003-09-23 08:35 am (UTC)(link)
I think that remains to be seen.

(Translation: Beats the hell outta me. She hasn't told me, yet.)

[identity profile] damara.livejournal.com 2003-09-23 09:01 am (UTC)(link)
*rolls*

Or better still, how do followers of the goddess define sainthood? Should we ask Mikey?

[identity profile] damara.livejournal.com 2003-09-23 09:20 am (UTC)(link)
*wrinkles her nose*

I will - when I get home. Though I could see a fun ic conversation around that particular topic. ;)

[identity profile] wolfcat.livejournal.com 2003-09-23 09:26 am (UTC)(link)
That would be amusing, yes.

[identity profile] proudsky.livejournal.com 2003-09-22 08:15 am (UTC)(link)
HRm....tigers are fuzzy. This one however is getting to be shaggy. Gettin a haircut today :P

*snugs*

[identity profile] damara.livejournal.com 2003-09-22 08:18 am (UTC)(link)
Fuzzy tigers! Fuzzy kitties! Fuzzy navel? Hrm, alcohol.. Nah, I think that would put me right to sleep right about now.

[identity profile] proudsky.livejournal.com 2003-09-22 08:35 am (UTC)(link)
*looks at his navel and then at you...and then his navel again*

*blinkblink*

[identity profile] damara.livejournal.com 2003-09-22 08:35 am (UTC)(link)
*giggles*

Vodka, peach schnapps, and orange juice?

[identity profile] proudsky.livejournal.com 2003-09-22 08:40 am (UTC)(link)
Thats a Screwy Navel, actually

Screwdriver: Vodka + OJ
Fuzzy Navel: Schnapps + OJ
Screwed Up Trial: Bloody Knife + OJ

...

Me? I prefer Vodka + Ice :)

[identity profile] damara.livejournal.com 2003-09-22 08:44 am (UTC)(link)
*laughs*

Okay, so you call it something different than we do. It happens!

[identity profile] proudsky.livejournal.com 2003-09-22 08:45 am (UTC)(link)
*purrrrs* ;)

[identity profile] insaint.livejournal.com 2003-09-22 02:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Has it reached you yet?

It's been getting progressively worse around here.

[identity profile] damara.livejournal.com 2003-09-22 08:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, it's definitely here now. :)

It was in Mississauga before lunch time, if that helps you any.

[identity profile] insaint.livejournal.com 2003-09-22 08:39 pm (UTC)(link)
I was just curious. It actually stopped here by now, I think. It was still going at 6:30 when I went to bed, but not it's not raining anymore.

[identity profile] damara.livejournal.com 2003-09-23 06:22 am (UTC)(link)
It stopped last night, but more rain is supposed to be coming.
