Yikes! Busy

Brain is swiftly draining. I find it somewhat awe-inspiring that we have clouds here already because of Hurricane Isabel.

All the way up here.

Just ... damn.

Seems Im just south enough to keep my weather a nice steady sunshine. I look at the map and the storm is (no joke) due to hit about an hour or so's drive from my house.....and I get no rain.

Supposedly the remnants of the storm will hit after midnight tonight and all day tomorrow.

We can expect 40-50km/hour winds, with gusts up to 80km (gale force, not hurricane). And we're supposed to get about 50mm of rain in 24 hours - absolutely nothing compared to what those folks down south will get/are getting. I hope everyone is okay.

Aye, I just watched the news at lunch and they said its hitting Va right now, and parts of NC. The eye of this thing looks huge, and its been weakened already?!? Eesh.

Midnight tonight, eh? Hrm. Be safe. Its astonishing that your gonna get it so soon after the hurricane hits land down here.

I think we'll only start getting the edges of the darn thing around midnight. It'll keep going all day tomorrow and into early Saturday.
