On Sillly Conversations ...
So, I went to get coffee in the staff kitchen here, and met up with a couple of coworkers. For the sake of brevity - L and F. L is wearing a lovely red outfit today, so I complimented her on being bright and cheery. We had a conversation about bright and cheery clothing in the office and the effect it has, before F came in. He had been eating watermelon, and L said she had some earlier, but it made her wonder if perhaps she was pregnant for a second time. Melon bloat, gotta love it. F commented that there's always the possibility, to which L replied that she'd passed her deadline. About then, J came in, only to ask with some bemusement, "You have a deadline?" I chimed in with, "Apparently." L said she was too old to have children. "No way," I said, "I don't believe you, L. You can't possibly be old." She replied that she wasn't old, but she was passed her deadline. But she felt the same as she did 20 years ago. J blinked with surprise. "The same?" he said, "Not flirtier?" While L and I laughed, F commented, "It's like wines, only getting better with age." J chuckled and said, "Wines get flirtier with age too? Oh, I am so looking forward to getting older."

Anyway, enough of that. Though I do appreciate the sympathy, really, I don't think I'll wallow in it.
I heard a rumour the lottery corporation is back up and running - certainly, I did buy tickets last night. Maybe I'll win?
