So, the first week of summer, and already there are noises about brown outs, black outs, and not enough power. You'd think the power utilities would learn. Sheesh.
The weekend - (Okay, yes, it's been a couple days since I posted - it happens. I can't imagine going 3 years and posting on every calendar day. That boggles my brain.)
Anyway. Friday night was Cluckups Online. The first time we tried it online, and it had a few glitches. But overall, it worked reasonably well. We've selected the next date too - July 19.
Saturday was a bit of Circus, a bit of shopping, and Great Big Sea Live! *beams* They are totally awesome. I find it neat to see the wide age range of people at GBS concerts - from about 8 years old to 80. Well, if we don't count the little bird that seemed to have gotten hurt there. Anyway, I was quite blissfull after that concert, though unfortunately it is true, we're all getting old.
Sunday, slept in a bit, got up, got some painting done, with lots of help from everyone. I ended up doing some directing to start with, but then Alery and Wolfcat finished up first, so they went to get lunch. Actually they went on quite the shopping spree, all things considered. ;) Anyway, we put up the screen tent in the backyard, and played Circus until after dark. Which reminds me of 2 things - 1. we need to search the danged bodies, and maybe more of the temple walls before we go through that secret door Solara found, and 2. uhm, Wolfcat? XP?
No online at all this weekend. After I turned my computer off Friday night, it didn't get turned on until Monday morning.
Monday - uhm, work. Got home, checked email, checked @mail, started to read Harry Potter. Oh yeah, Val, Pam and Alery hid the book when it arrived on Saturday, but Val told me about it on Sunday. Mostly cause she giggles too much to keep a secret. :) Anyway, I've made it to the end of chapter 12 - and am looking forward to reading the rest. Might not be online tonight either, to be honest. :) Tomorrow night though, I will be online. Last symphony practice before the big show, on Heroes, after all.
And yup, that's it. Well, for now anyway.

Date: 2003-06-24 10:15 am (UTC)The way I figure it, we should do the secret room first, assuming it doesn't lead us away from the temple. Cause then we can still search and walls and whatnot after we come out again and close the door behind us. That way the bad guys don't know about the secret room even if more of them show up to try and kill us.
And I'm 7.5 chapters into Harry Potter.
