Proposal changes
Jun. 18th, 2003 09:57 amAnd changes and changes and ...
Well, alright then, it keeps me busy, yes?
No RP yesterday for me at all, though a lot of teasing as the DM is threatening to run Solara into trouble. *beams* Well, I'm sure it won't be the trouble I'm expecting, but it will be fun, nonetheless. I did post her bg in there somewhere, so you know, anyone else with thoughts or comments - feel free to pipe up.
The walls look way nifty, and just wait until they're finished. I'll be quite happy about that. It'll be doing the fireplace room that will be really interesting. Probably drive us just as nuts as this paint job. ;) In any event, if we recoat the trim that was done yesterday, that's about all we can do tonight. Then we can take the tape off around that trim, and by the weekend, we can paint the trim around the blue. Which will mean that we can start putting the house back in order. Some days, I do hate waiting for paint to dry.
Taliesin chewed the power cord for the answering machine/phone that sits by the front door. Brat cat. I'm still trying to figure out if we can get a replacement for that cord, or if I just want to go to Bell Call Answer. *grumble* (Should have left him in the basement!)
And I can't help but wonder if
arwen77 is ready for the Friday Night CluckUp Brigade to ride again.

Re:
Date: 2003-06-18 07:43 am (UTC)You know, he's eaten wires to cell phone adapters, walkman earphones, the network router - I'm telling you that cat is nuts.
He's gorgeous, friendly, and has a personality like you wouldn't believe, but he just won't stop chewing wires.
We might have to encase all our wires in adamantium or something. :)

Date: 2003-06-18 08:15 am (UTC)Actually, sad story, I have a friend whose cat was electrocuted chewing through a television power cable.
She has large-scale electrocution phobias. Like if there's a scene in a movie where someone is electrocuted, or even if someone nearby makes that buzzing noise while spasming as a joke, she has a strong phobic reflex.
I used to game with her, and this other guy who lives in our building now. He was a brontophobe. Truck backfires or other loud noises happening outside the place we were gaming forced a short break in play while he (the GM) recovered.

Bengal cats seem to have the same ability, well, more or less. But they are beautiful animals. ;)
