With impending rain.

Ah well, it happens. Yesterday we had a domain issue, just as I was saving a document. Lost maybe 20 minutes of work, but of course, it took me a good 45 minutes to remember what the changes actually were. Go figure.

But it's all back to normal now. Need to get verification on some facts from a co-worker, who seems to be in meetings all morning. Ick. Better him than me, but still. Poor guy.

Meetings suck.

If anyone is interested, I've been feeling better each day. Yesterday I didn't even want a nap, for the first time in a week.


Did I rp? Oh, yes. Right. Finished up an incomplete scene, so that's good. Di ended up having tea with Eryx and Selene. And Selene was defending Di - that was amusing. Poor Eryx didn't know what to do with himself. It's an interesting situation, to see that Selene is in some ways dealing with her abuse better than Di. Then again, Selene was not abused for quite so many years as Di was. Not quite... Cea and Connor made up. Well, mostly. Though it's interesting to see what twisted logic Cea will come up with next.

Tori had dinner with Ross, Trycia and Khyran. *beams* Yay! That was also a fun time, though a bit slow. Three drakelings in the same room. Chaos.

Mir found herself pitted against another pyro - a fop of a fellow who was having way too much fun. Aidan found himself caught in a meeting with Aurien - oops?

Yeah, that was most of the evening, obviously.


I tried to get to Solara's bg, I really did. But somehow I kept getting distracted. (I still can see Solara some dark stormy night facing off against Damien. "Silver bullets this time, wolfboy.") I have to finish that tale of our first adventure, but I lost my steam for it. Perhaps I'll get to it sunday. I should have lots of time to do stuff sunday (and sore muscles from gardening and painting to go with it). Yay?

Anyway, ohter than that, no news. Except I'm taking pain killers before the headache gets bad this time.

I think Selene makes up with quality for lack in quantity. So to speak. She was seriously abused since she was 5, after all.

Still... Selene is dealing better than Di?? Wow. That's impressive. My question is, though, why did she have to defend Di?

Yeah, I know. Didn't know when I initially got annoyed, though, so the feeling stuck around. :)

Oh boy. He should talk to Aidan... Aidan would tell him all he thinks about channelers, male or female. And none of it is particularly nice. :)

Is it just me, or did Cea and Connor just fall into the Twilight Zone?? If I connect tonight, I will email you last nights log. I added some stuff off screen concerning Connor to see if I could egg Jacyn into talking/sparing with Connor. Seems to maybe have worked. Now I just gotta wait till bloody Tuesday to get my lesson. *snug*

Just in case I dont, He was provoked by Dax Proven in the Yards, and then he got into a full out, no holds barred, spar with the other trainee. Many NPC witnesses, so you may learn about it through that, but Connor dropped Dax and then stalked off. Seems talk about you had provoked the spar. It was used to get Jacyn into some RP with me, but there you have it. He isnt in trouble, so Cea shouldnt loose her temper....right? ;)

I consider Connor to be pretty even tempered, but all of this has worn him down to be rather irate when someone badmouths Cea, or teases him about the two of them. Mebbe after all of this is over, he will have to take pointers from her ;)

Well, Cea's self control needed help, so she can pass her accepted test when she gets there. Though that wasn't exactly the way I was intending on getting her some self control. I would like for her to talk to Cheryce again at some time. Just for those two to at least get to neutral territory.
