Bleah

So, I go downstairs to let Apache in. Silly cat wanted out this morning, and now she wants in. There's a piece of paper tucked under the mat. It's from the gardening company and they say they've put the broad leaf weed killer on my lawn. Please don't mow or water for 48 hours. Rain won't hurt the weed killer, unless it rains immediately after the application.

It's already raining.

*snickers*

Well alright then. Guess they might be reapplying that stuff. Though truthfully, I don't know when they showed up, so it might have been okay.

Trust Murphy.

Murphy is damn near infallible...

Actually, when Murphy came up with the law it wasn't 'Whatever can go wrong will go wrong', but rather 'If you give people a choice, they will inevitably make the wrong one.' :)

*laughs*

Yes, that works too.

*shakes her head* Of all the days to pick, they would pick this one.

Indeed.

Compare Murphy's Law with Finagle's Law.

I'm busy trying to distrust Murphy to the point where the universe adapts to my disbelief.

Nobody wants to be around me anymore.

You know, right about now, that sounds like a good plan.

That's gotta say something about my state of mind right at the moment.
