Oh, What A Weekend!
What a blast!

aleriel and wolfcat have done a very good job of detailing the weekend, already, so I don't have to be so verbose. Of course, that's never stopped me before.
So, Friday night - Circus Hijinks began. Well, I'm not sure what it will end up being called, but that's its current name, until something comes up in play to name it for us. That was absolutely amazing. I'm still laughing over Vica's reply to the GM's "You see your sister, who you haven't seen in 5 years, standing there talking to someone." Vica's reply? "Okay, whatever." *chuckles* It's interesting when there's new folks learning about rp. What a hoot.
Then we woke up way too early asakesteven and her sister had to get up and head home for the long weekend. The conversation went here, there and everywhere, but it kept going back to taking a nap, which we never did. Came up with some interesting plot twists for Diohne, Rwn and Jessalil, several of which have been implemented. I guess we'll continue that little vacation (Non-vacation, now, I guess you'd call it) when we have time. Plotted for RW as well, of course. I have now got way too many disorderly ideas in my poor skull for the next arc in that story. I'll have to get them to settle down a bit before I can get things moving. But I'll manage. Effectively, I know the first 2 or three scenes we need, and then I can just have lots of fun.
So, to start with, I needwolfcat, aleriel, and arwen77. Tonight might work, yes?
In actual RP - Nathael and Niquole were helping Elyse to recover from that nasty evilbad 13-13 she almost got turned in. Di, Rwn, and Jessa - *grins* Logs will be posted, I promise. Eventually. Jen's fuzzle got eaten by Fallon's brand new Drakeling, B.J. Summer got to go out to play in the park (with a babysitter, Mom, don't panic!) and she ran across Eryx. Funny thing that. He was quite surprised to learn that Sun doesn't like to fly. Uhm - I posted some logs as well, so that was good. And I started working on then next RS plot. *beams* 2 temp characters are being created. And we will shortly have a new G'Kar to go ask Delenn and Sheridan for help. *beams* You all better be nice to him - he's got lots of rp sessions to play, since he's on a trial period.
I still owe Atalanta a scene, but we seem to be having dreadful luck getting online at the same time to rp. Ah well, perhaps tonight? Who knows?
Gardening - not only did we mow the lawn and plant a rose bush (dumb builder's junk just under the top soil. Rock, sand, clay bleah - it's very annoying to dig) (still have 6 plants that need to be planted, btw. maybe I'll keep you all updated through here, just cause), but we stopped by a nursery and checked out rocks. Nice flat ones, so I can make my knee high tribute to Stonehenge, that I've always wanted. All matching ones - you know, if I had a spare 200$, I'd be seriously tempted to buy them right now. Borrow Dad's jeep for a day ... and Dad, come to think of it ... and put that in my backyard. Add a couple turtles to the display and a nice big dragon in the middle. Or perhaps by a nearby tree. *grins wickedly, and declines to explain*
Yeah, that's the ticket.
Oh, we also went to Wyldstar and discovered that they have in fact ordered in all the Kenshin which they don't currently have. Which is good, cause I've seen up to the end of Ice Blue Eyes, which I think is the 8th DVD all in all. But they don't know when they'll be arriving. Lesigh.
Course, that's where I bought the puzzle trap book and the d20 Modern core rules book for our Circus Hijinks game.
And somewhere in amongst the fun there was also dishes, laundry, idle chatting, RS Wiz work, cooking, baking, and even a little bit of sleep. I think.
Whew. Okay, now that's done. I think I need to eat lunch, and get myself back into work stuff, so I can get home at a reasonable time tonight.

1) BUFFY! I may be rather slow/idle from 8 to 9 pm.
2) I may need a nap before I can commit to any sort of conscious RP. So, I'm guessing... any time after 7pm would work. That way I can at least get an hour nap.

Yes, and actually - can I get you to create a temp character for the "Hunter, Prey" plot coming up on RS? You might actually be able to just @emit her - Name is Sarah, if you look up the episode anywhere. If not, no worries - I can do it. :) But hey, if I can spread the wealth, why not?

2. I always go to both stores and check prices.
3. Wyldstar never watches me like I'm a criminal?!
4. Had the most interesting conversation with one of the Wyldstar employees about gaming and anime. It was cool.
But the biggest reason is the Anime stuff. Wyldstar always gets it in for me, if they don't have it. World's Collide just says, "Sorry, we don't have it."

I think it has something to do with the demographic of their most prevalent clientel.
