Monday Update

sinjunMmm, beautiful weekend, weatherwise. Yesterday was so nice, we went for a walk to the beach and added a couple rocks to the stone wall. Yeah, it's a pathetic stone wall so far, but well, give me 50 years or so. You'll see.
RS - Ross has figured out all the system glitches. Yay, Ross. And he told Tori, giving her more paperwork in the process. Guess that means I need a scene with Tori and Fallon, to discuss it. And Gari. And Sheridan. Cause the next question is what to do with the fuzzles. *beams* Uhm, Cass? You ready for this? Not too much other stuff happening on RS. I'm going to have to fix that.
TM - what's that? *sigh* You know, I did RP on TM not so long ago. With Shim. But it felt so strange, like I was lost in space somehow. I also found it odd to not be dealing with at least one player who poses 10-15 lines consistently. I mean, on Heroes, I often feel like I'm the poor poser. ;)
Altered - Haven't been there in a while, actually. I just don't log on when everyone else does, so it's difficult. Ah well, it was fun while it lasted.
Heroes - posted some logs, got Di on her first ever vacation. *chuckles* That woman is in for a shock. Elyse and Nathael set a wedding date. There's politics in the hall, and I'm quite sure the arches plot will die a miserable death. *shrugs* Ah well, it was worth the opportunity to at least try to stir up some rp. Instead, it only seems to have stirred up hostility. Funny how that happens sometimes. Cea is in a blue funk and Connor is suffering the ill effects of it. In fact, he's sick and because Cea is in such a mood, she just figures anything else that can go wrong will, so Connor's going to die. Which of course only scares him more. But now that her punishment is over and she can get outside again, her mood should improve.
Though she's not allowed to do acrobatics anymore thanks to Katyla. There are those who just must pick on those they see as lesser. That's why there's a pecking order, right? Better hope though that those you pick on don't ever make it to a higher status than you, because they usually remember you for the nasty things you do.
That explains so much about the White Tower really.
In other news, I voluntarily am keeping myself away from folks, just in case. See, having been exposed to mumps, I don't want to spread it if I can avoid it. So, until May 14, I won't know if I have it or not, given it's got a stupid incubation period. 12 - 24 days, what's up with that? Anyway, this means I won't be going where there are kids, until after May 14. Just to be on the safe side. This regrettably means I won't be at Coronation this coming weekend. It's a pity, but I would rather be safe than sorry.
Today is my Dad's birthday. Happy birthday, Dad. ;)

Date: 2003-04-28 10:17 am (UTC)You may be able to go if you so choose. My doctor, the quack, yes, still insists it's not mumps. She does, however, believe it may be a bacterial infection. I'm on antibiotics now.
She tells me the test results for both Mumps and Mono have come back negative, though she does have ideas about what other syndroms/conditions it could possibly be.
Hell if I know. 'Cept, apparently, I'm not and may never have been contagious.
