Fast Seasons
Apr. 15th, 2003 02:28 pmSo, yesterday was spring (high of 16C) and today is summer (high of 28C). Is anyone surprised that we hit autumn and winter tomorrow? (Temperature dropping to 2 (or was that -2) with a chance of freezing rain and/or thunderstorms. Fastest year I've ever witnessed.
Okay, so no, I don't live in Calgary. Or other places where such screwy weather is usual.
Sports news: Mike Weir won the golf tournament (just that little one down in Augusta, no big deal). Good on him! It's a challenging thing, so far as I've heard. And the Maple Laughs won too. (If they keep that up, I won't be able to make fun of their name any more. Darn.) Finally, the Boo Jays lost. Nuts. Mind you, from the 2 half innings I listened to, they didn't deserve to win. 'nuff said.
Got an email from one of my peers. We got a 9/10 on our Accounting Project, and the teacher actually told us that we did a good job. *beams* This is a very nice thing. And it means that I know 55% of the mark for that class. Here's hoping I managed to keep the average up for in that final exam, and I'll be a very happy Dara. Won't know for sure for 3 weeks or so. But I can hope.
Other than that - project work tonight, and a bit of nice gentle relaxing rp. I am not going to think, I swear. Someone else's turn. Well, unless Cea gets to catch up with Carole. Course, that would be a lot of fun too. *beams*

Date: 2003-04-16 10:50 am (UTC)Let's see. There's the 3 year old. The sick trainee. The sick gaidin.
What are the odds that Cea will leave the 3 year old with those two? Uhm, not likely. Niq might just get Cea back to the tower when nobody else can. Though I am dying with curiosity to know if anyone else is going off searching!

Date: 2003-04-16 11:24 am (UTC)Oh boy. Mind you, by that time they'll be away from Carole, so it will be just Niquole, Connor, Jacyn and Cea. I wonder if she'll have to tie the boys to their seats. I can see her having to channel without permission to do so. *grins*

Date: 2003-04-16 11:33 am (UTC)Yeah well, if she's going to get into trouble, she might as well do it with style, no?
