Gaming Update ... because I can.

Well - the continuation of the adventure. Today we laughed just about as hard as we did last week. We actually finished the first adventure and get to go home for a short break. Yay us?

The bad guy got away, darn it all.

But we (the party that is, not me!) killed uhm ... a homunculus, 2 darkmantles (I think), got singed by a wall of fire (and ended up hairless!), oh, and a bugbear. The bugbear killed me though.. darn nasty critical hit at quadruple damage. Hrmph. But at least I didn't get turned into a chicken. That happened to Alery's character. And Pam's character ended up with an intelligence of 3 for a while. I wonder if that's better than a glass of water? ;) And Wolfcat's character went ballistic on the bugbear. It didn't last much after that.

Oh, and we also beat a falcon, barbarian and a magic dude. Cleric, I guess, but I don't know for sure. Our friendly cleric dude ended up dead though. Sniffles. Guess nobody resurrected the npc.

In the end, they resurrected me, and we all made it to level 2. Yay!

Now if only we can figure out when we can play again...

That clucking bastard who can't tell a transmogrification potion from a healing potion was our friendly cleric?! ;P

Well, it was a god-honest mistake! Well, that and a critical failure on his alchemy roll...
On the bright side, you did get to bond with your familiar on a whole new level? And don't worry, he'll get over that crush eventually.

And admit it, we did say you always ended up on the bottom of the pecking order. Now, you can peck back.

Not to mention that if you ever should find out adventuring just isn't your thing, the local KFC store will be in touch about employment opportunities. Not many have their job being served on a platter...

The sad thing about all this? It was the darn friendly cleric that brought up the jokes about chickens crossing the road in the first place!
