Tired all week ...
Jan. 31st, 2008 10:20 am But getting there. Slowly but surely.
Anyway, did not play FFXI yesterday. I'm really starting to lose interest there. What I'm learning, if it wasn't entirely clear, is that the game is only fun if there's people to play with. And the people to play with aren't there on FFXI any more. It's pretty darn boring by myself. If I log on and there's nobody there, I log off again and go play on MoL - which is much much fun atm, what with plots going on at the White Tower, Seanchan and Gamael. Whee! I suppose I could meet more people there - but really, I'm not a hardcore gamerchick sort of person. So without the social aspect, the game loses quite a bit of its appeal. And I don't see reason to be paying money for a game that isn't fun any more.
So, I guess I'm going to check out LotRO and CoH... see how I like them. EVE too, I expect. Since I have a way to do that with friends.
And we'll see if I end up playing on any of those, or not.
