Nov. 19th, 2007 11:25 amLazy weekend this one. Well, in and around various work foo.
FFXI - monk to level 19. Got my RSE gloves (after much running around invisible and sneaked thanks to DBW!) And of course the darn chest was right under a labyrinth scorpion. Those things are BIG! DBW quaked it for almost 900hp damage and it wasn't dead. Course, I could hit it with my great axe, so the two of us managed to kill it. And the 2 protozoans with it, piece of cake. It helps to have a level 55 or so mage with you. :) Didn't get dead, once DBW got there - though I did get myself killed on my own. Dumb bats linked. I coulda killed the gob and one bat ... but not two... sigh. Anyway, now I need to get the RSE feet. ;) Oh, and on my way to Holla for a small San d'Orian quest, I ran into a battering ram so I killed it. And my lanolin cube dropped finally! Whee! (That'll get me through 2 Jeuno quests, you see. ;)) Need to kill a couple of NMs again - Lumbering Lambert and some sheep type in Konschtat - so I can go get a purple belt and keep leveling monk in Qufim. I want to get monk to 25 and then I can leave it there for a bit. And of course I need to sell stuff - inventory overload again. Yeesh! Also need to find out if Serps has given up on the game or not. I was kinda leveling blm with his rdm ...
RP - given up on SGA. Well, it's difficult, I think. But there just doesn't seem to be any real interest in it. And even if others are wanting to play, I can't sum up the energy to get back into those characters any more.
On the other hand, on MoL - much fun. Taught a channeling lesson, which is always good. How to freak out the students in one easy step. Mwahahaha! Promoted to Gaidin - scary that. Can't say I was expecting it at all, at all. And now there's fun as various Aes Sedai are circling like sharks. ;) Bard is visiting the Seanchan. And yeah - lots of action all over the place. Wrote a couple room descs for Charon too. Got about 5 more to go and 2 roster characters I promised to create for Serps. Then I think I'm done with that helping the staff out for a while.
Yoga tonight so that should be fun. I'm looking forward to it. Gotta send Mom some pics she wants, if I can find them. They're wedding pictures and such a ton of them we have by now. It's impossible to sort it all out. Well, not really impossible, just time consuming.
In other news, got my brother and sis-in-law's Christmas gifts purchased and they'll be shipped out from Macy's most likely by the end of this week. How's that for ahead of the game? Course, I still haven't done Christmas cards... oops. Guess that's next on the list. If you want one, make sure I have your snail mail addy. ;)
