One Christmas Party Dutifuly Attended

Work Christmas party was last night. It was at the Old Mill, which I have to admit is a fabulously lovely place. It's amazing to find such a large old complex in the city. I'd never been there before, but it's got multiple fireplaces, hard wood floors, huge beam and trestle construction and stone walls inside. There's a gorgeous stone wall fountain that I'd love to sit down by, curled up all nice and cozy with a good book.

Alas, I don't think that's possible.

Gotta get me one of those places. I think it could by rights qualify as a mansion/castle/fort type place, if it needed to. (And oh wow, that brings on the glimmer of a story... ) I must be getting out of school mode, because I've got the biggest intentions of writing again.

Huh. Maybe I can actually write something, finish it this time! and get it published. There - I was looking for a new five year goal, wasn't I?
