Woof woof?

So, the day before the day before yesterday, Mom and I went for a walk in the evening. We took her 9 month old puppy, Taurus, with us.

Taurus is a Hungarian hunting dog, for those who do not know.

We had a lovely walk, chatted about all kinds of interesting things, and on the way back, we ran across a rabbit. In the neighbours driveway of all places. Taurus' attention was caught and he even pointed. It was hilarious how much he wanted us to see that rabbit and how badly he wanted to catch it. The rabbit, foolish creature, decided to run from the dog. Taurus barked and tried to chase it, but Mom had him on his leash, so he didn't get far. The rabbit didn't run far enough though, and he caught sight of it again. He barked. The rabbit ran. Unfortunately, it decided to run right into my backyard, just as we were arriving home. So, Mom let Taurus out into the backyard and he went chasing after the rabbit who skiddaddled under the fence and escaped safely.

This time.

Taurus spent the next half hour in the backyard, trying to find the rabbit.

The really amusing thing is that Dad stayed home this week because he's rabbit hunting. And they haven't seen a single rabbit yet...
