Today ... let's see. Got up to discover there'd been a power brown out sometime between my going to sleep and waking up. Was very glad I didn't have to get up at any specific time. Finished reading "Komarr" by Lois McMaster Bujold over my coffee. Brunch was bagel with cheddar cheese melted in the oven. Yum. Went outside to garden, after taking my claritin.

Good thing to do when you've a mild grass allergy. take the allergy meds before you go weed/plant/whatever. it works wonderfully well. Anyway, got the lilac soil loosened, and added topsoil. Planted the dianthus around it. They're edible flowers, if they survive. We only have 4 of them, so far. Also Ariel and I weeded the big front garden, and planted Violas there. Yes, they too are edible. They're in between the grass and the lovely white flowering trees. Then I planted the Hosta (Blue) to one side. And we planted the Dragon's Blood by the big old tree near the road. Weeded some more.

My uncle came over and he connected the garage door opener that Ariel bought. Was way nice of him. And now we have the automatic door opener, which is awesome!

Alery arrived. We took a break and then planted a small lilac - it will grow. A red current bush, and a Rose of Sharon. Okay, it ended up being three of htem, but I didn't realize that at the time. We also planted some green onions and 4 tomato plants. Ariel also transplanted a few of the inside plants that needed a hand. Droopy lives again. I think we have 4 droopies at the moment. Which is good. Droopy, for the uninitiated, is a lovely leafy plant with small delicate yellow/green flowers that open at night. It's related to the Jasmine family or in it or something. And it droops when it needs water. One of the few plants even I can't kill. Raked some grass. Discovered grubs. Yick. Must get grub killer tomorrow. *sigh* Watered. Yay us. Very productive.

Went out to Klondike's ... darn place was closed for remont. Go figure.

So we went to Lonestar which accomplished the same thing. And then to the movies. I saw Shrek and can I just say ...

I want one!

Nope, not the donkey, not the ogre. Not the princess.

I WANT that pink dragon. *drool*

'nuff said.

Your view on yourself

You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. You are an
efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a
decision that usually appeals to both parties.

The type of girl/boyfriend you are looking for.

You are a true romantic. When you are in love, you will do anything and everything to keep
your love true.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship.

You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will
pretty much know as soon as you might that person.

The seriousness of your love.

You like to flirt and behave seductively. The opposite sex finds this very attractive, and that's
why you'll always have admirers hanging off your arms. But how serious are you about
choosing someone to be in a relationship with?

Your views on education

Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can.

The right job for you.

You have plenty of dream jobs but have little chance of doing any of them if you don't focus
on something in particular. You need to choose something and go for it to be happy and
achieve success.

How do you view success?

You are afraid of failure and scared to have a go at the career you would like to have in case
you don't succeed. Do not give up when you have not even started yet! Be courageous!

What are you most afraid of?

You are concerned about your image and the way others see you. This means that you try
very hard to be accepted by other people. It's time for you to believe in who you are, not what
you wear.

Who is your true self?

You are full of energy and confidence. You are unpredictable, with moods changing as
quickly as an ocean. You might occasionally be calm and still, but never for long.

Another busy day. Got up, had coffee. Took car to get its oil changed. Whee. Yay me.

Went shopping through Canadian Tire, had lunch at Montana's. Was good. Went shopping through Walmart and Home Depot. Bought 6 patio chairs - 2 for the balcony and 4 for out back. bought a patio bench for the front porch. Also bought a toolset so hopefully I have the socket whatsit that is needed whenever one of my so-kind relatives helps put together something like the garage door opener that got installed this weekend.

Yes, folks, I am on a roll.

And WOW, does it feel good...
