Landscaping

It occurs to me that I have a good idea what to do with one part of my back and side yard. I just need the money/time/resources to get it done. Hrm...

I want to put a gate up on the side of my house nearest the one neighbour who actually put up a fence. Yes, this will be a useless gate, because well, the other 2 sides of the yard are unfenced. But ... It'll be cool. A nice arch with some philodendron equivalents (vines anyway, that don't mind winter!). And I want a mosaic pathway from the front of the house to the gate, so there's no weeds growing between the two houses there any more. And just by the porch there, I want a nice flower bed with flowers that don't mind not getting a lot of sun. Once around to the back, the path should go right over to the patio, and there should be flower beds under the windows ... That's the first step to my eventual garden haven.

Oh yeah - and my head still hurts cause of the weather. Just so you know.

Zhaan: You are Zhaan, the Blue Bitch (but in a good
way). Constant frustration with the small
brains around you forces you to practice the
vegetable form of Tai-Chi. IN...OUT...master of
calm. Once a rather fiesty thing, you became a
priestess and can now heal anything with the
most irratating sort of pacificity. Oh and uh,
mind the light...

Zhaan, btw, is the creature that Di was ... warped in the image of ... as I recall.

(sighs) ... yeah... Zhaan is that silky blue alien played by that sexy actress Virginia Hey. MMmmmm.

Neat. I skipped the photo session in the last two TTs. The lines are a pain. I skipped autographs for largely the same reason. :)

I mainly go to hang out in the video room and sit in on a few panels now. Oh yeah, and the readings by the author guests.

This was my first year - I was... eh, slightly overwhelmed.

I have never been... but you all might coax me out one year. ;)

More like you all might coax me BACK one year!

I didn't like the last one much. The programming kinda sucked, the schedule definitely sucked (I had hours of nothing to do and then like 3 panels I'm interested in at the same time), and I wasn't interested in any of the guests. Still... yeah, I can see how it can be overwhelming. :)

Actually, I lined up to meet the actors in person because they were some of the most normal people I could find!! :) :)

If I was co-erced into going again, it would have to be with the understanding that I might become extremely clingy and difficult to get rid of... *lol* especially if I'm freaked out by some of the people I fear I once may have become.

*laughs* Hmm... you've never been to an anime convention, have you? ;)

People there are far scarier than anyone you can see at a sci-fi con. Except maybe for the people who dress up like klingons, do the whole makeup thing, and then talk amongst themselves in Klingon only...

Those self-same people are the ones to whom I was largely referring. I was scarred. Deeply.

...of course, this largely because I could have been there. I too once strode around campus with a tilley hat and an ill-fit trenchcoat bearing a button which read "I'm just visiting this planet".

Yep!

Zhaan was the total physical inspiration. The psychological inspirations is more like... I'll get back to you on that.

Isn't she lovely? *_*

*laughs*

Okay then... Mind you, I'm warping her psychologically too. *grinbounce*

You around this evening?

Well...

I am this evening. Thursday evening, that is, as well as pretty much all day.
