*blinkblink* Who let Morning come?

sinjunOkay, hard to get out of bed this morning and my cats were obnoxiously purring at me far too early. Even before the alarm went off for some reason. Though not much. Darn critters. ;)
We went cross country skiing both Saturday and Sunday this weekend. I realized how out of shape I am, and I improved my snowplowing at least a little. Though I still have enough trouble with the Intermediate trails that you won't catch me too often on the Red or Black. Skiied only about 12 km, over all. And I'm planning to try the same thing again next weekend, so long as there's snow.
It's improved my mood, if nothing else, cause now I'm all contented tired relaxed. Except for the stiff muscles that didn't want to work this morning. Darn things. Why can't they cope with far too long being inactive, and then cross country skiing.
Interesting thing this weekend - learned a new road. :) Well, Lakeridge was closed at Concession 9 (Myrtle Rd), so we had to take a detour one block west, and then north. Lovely little winding road - I think it was called concession 7, but I could be wrong - it was absolutely beautiful with all the evergreen trees and the white white snow. The wind kept blowing the snow down onto the road, causing temporary whiteouts, but that didn't matter because we were travelling so slowly anyway. It was slippery snow covered roads, and people were their usual selves. Then we ended up completely stopped for 15 minutes, only to find out that it was because some poor fellow in a pickup truck could not make it up the slippery hill. Mom's car had no problem with it, but we could see where that pickup truck was spinning. The benefits of front wheel drive, I guess. And good tires. ;)
As Mirelle might say though - I did break a nail, so obviously something wasn't quite right. :)
And this morning. Snow Squalls on the way to work. Silly things just exist to cause white outs and traffic snarls, I swear.
But I made it, and things are kinda okay. Got a meeting in 20 minutes, and I think I'm ready for it. Other than that - well, brain is for a change not fried, but my first accounting class ever is tonight.
We'll see how I'm doing after that.
