The computer stuff can be nice, but you can't (easily) make them work like Trek or most of sci-fi computers..
They'd probably end up like Snuffles..

Even given that, it's surprising what you can do with just a list of acceptable verbs. Anyway. :o)
The builders don't need to do anything. Once I know what I'm doing, I'll walk the grid and put the numbers down myself (I'll write a little bit of code that'll keep me straight for not repeating anything).
Hmmm..
Builders might actually find it useful to think of the building in terms of areas and sub-areas /anyway/, just because work is easier when you split it into bite-sized chunks. Also, having the sub-areas better defined will make for nice routing tables. Don't feel like you've got to have nicely seperated areas though, if necessary I'll just pick arbitary points to split things down. :o)
