Oh Yes ...

Haven't updated at all for a while. I have been busy trying to recoup my losses on Neopets. I did hear back from the abuse@ team there, but so far all they've done is ask me for a lot of information and given no help.
And today it seems crookandchase is having trouble with a neopets account. Hrm. This is not a good thing.
So, what's been happening? Well, golf last week was fun. Golfed a horrible 61 or something like that. I lost my focus on the second hole, and while the humour and laughter was fun, it was not conducive to a good golf score.
And tonight, I'm not even sure if I will golf. We're booked for 5:40pm, but (drum roll please) the fellow for the central air is supposed to be arriving to see about installing it for us. *grins* Now my summertime visitors won't melt quite so much.
Discovered that the cats have been sharing their food with some ants. Promptly kicked the ants out. Oh yes, we also had some cat escapes. I should have known they were putting holes into the screen door on purpose. ;) The ants came back... so we tried cayenne pepper, but that didn't seem to work very well. *sigh* Ant traps. There's one outside, and one in, but we figured out a way to keep the cats away from it. And we moved their food, so hopefully the darn pests will stay out. Or I'll have to get really obnoxious.
For instance, Elyse is currently missing, along with Sylvane, Mi'kel and Leyai. Whoops? I'm sure there are a few people none too pleased with that little glitch. Ah well, it will be resolved sooner or later. Yasmin has successfully killed off her step-son. Oops? *grins* Course, he was an NPC of mine, so that wasn't too much trouble. Though poor Heddar's player seems to be having online trouble. But this plot is dragging on a little longer than I intended it to. Oh, and I've finally got a way for Yas to go darker without her wanting to. *beams* And it might even up her appearance stat by 1. No news on Maurel. I just can't seem to get into those male alts like I should. They seem to have alien brains or something. And Carai - well, the biggest news with her is that I discovered her hubby the king had idled out. Whoops.
Briarholt and Warren holts are going to merge. That's been more OOC plotting than anything, but it's being set up. Briarholt is currently having ash rain down on the island from a volcanic eruption. Whee! Raft has the same ash falling and Cascade the claustrophobic is freaked out. *grins* Darksky is a little worried about the ash, and whether or not they'll be able to stay on the island. Leafshimmer is over a turn pregnant, and starting to show. She's getting cranky too, poor elfie. Coralfire - *laughs* Torgan made her blush yesterday. He should be happy. It means she's actually noticing him. Which for her is a big step. I wonder if this will mess up her hunting skills. And then there's Waterlark, the still moody. She just did /not/ take well to her mother's death. And no one has yet managed to cheer her up for more than a while.
Did I mention I gave up Dewshine? Probably not, but I did. It's sad, because I enjoyed rp with Scouter, but since he was the only Lostholter I could ever find to rp with, it was a bit frustrating.
On RS, well, Mariah is probably conscious again by now. The Copernicus plot is 1 bbpost away from finished. The next plot is being started up, which is a good thing, I think. Yay! Jen is sort of happily single again, and finally over KC. Tori got hurt in the fight against the Copernicus monster, but not badly. She didn't even miss any duty. Course, I'm still looking for that vacation Sheridan promised her. :) Vir hired a Narn as a bodyguard. Can you believe it? That should cause some fun rp, to say the least. Julie showed up on station with some new advertising paraphernalia.
There, that's the majority. Oh, Serena turned back to a dragon, and Zero threatened to have her shot if she turns into a human again. Sheesh. Silly robots. ;)
Other than that, well ... just the usual. Some work, some play ... but lots of fun.
