School Note

So I ordered the book that I need for school. I'm not going to wait for September to start reading.

Golf tonight - but it's another hot hot day. Supposed to hit a high of 33C. (The humidex is supposed to mean it will feel like it's 45C, for those who put stock in those things.)

Yes, you guessed it - more chances of thunderstorms. This has been our second hottest July on record, falling only behind July 1999. Is anyone surprised at all?

And it's been one of the coldest summers on record here.

Of course, one of the symptoms of global warming is Nova Scotia getting colder (more artic ice melting increases the amount of cold water flowing down in the Labrador Current, so it cools the maritimes down). I repeat your question, is anyone surprised at all?

Not me, for sure. I mean.. think about it. This is the first summer that I live in a house without air conditioning and I don't deal well with heat (though I'm getting better). It's only natural that this'd be one of the hottest summers ever. :)

*laughs*

Of course! I should have known!

This explains everything!
