Tent Caterpillars are icky

We had an infestation in the decorative tree the builders put up on our front lawn. Ick. Nasty critters. It's interesting what chemicals will do. For instance, Raid really does seem to kill the nasty things.

Almost as well as the actual insecticide for the tent caterpillars does. Now though, we're left with the tent on the tree, and it's rather ugly. Have to figure out what to do with that, I suppose. And we shall have to keep an eye on the tree to make sure we killed them all. Nasty, evil bugs.

They're not as bad as spiders though ...

sounds horrible, though.

Little bugs, about an inch long. They do the coccoon thing and turn into moths, I believe. But they do it en masse, so you get what looks like a white spiderweb thing, crawling with little inch long furry bugs with Waaayyyyyy tooo many legs.

As in Ick here (http://butterflywebsite.com/images/caterpil/cat005.gif)
