sinjun6C is too cold to golf in.
But I scored a 66 again. Same as last week. AT least I'm consistently bad.

Date: 2002-05-12 05:40 pm (UTC)1) I have suceeded in accidently loosing my grip and throwing my club further than the what golf ball had gone from the T Box.
2) I have recently suceeded in somehow managing to pass through 3 different fairways, a T Box, and one Green that was not a part of the hole I was playing before getting to my own green and sinking the shot.
3) I have lost 6 balls on one hole to the lake. We affectionatly call it "Feeding the Monster"
And all this from someone who consistantly shoots an average of 86 on 18 holes. We all have our off days, and if they outnumber the god ones, you can always look into speed golf ;) (Polo while driving a golf cart)

66 isnt all that bad, in truth. And if you enjoy it...well, whats the problem? :)
Oh, did I mention overshooting into the parking lot and hitting some poor sap's truck? Heh.....lucky it was the last hole. I left kinda in a hurry on that one ;) Never Ever use a driver on a 130yd hole...especially if the T is on top of a cliff. Eeesh

You know, my goal for this year is to try to get to an average of 54 for 9 holes... And that still wouldn't crack 100. ;)
Thanks for the lovely thoughts - I enjoyed the chuckle. And besides, it's good to know what I have to look forward to, even if I manage to get better at this game.
Of course I had fun - though it is difficult to golf when laughing so hard you're crying.
Can't imagine why...
