Thunderstorms

I like lightning, most of the time. Unfortunately, all four times (or maybe 3, or maybe 5) (plus or minus 1?!) that it woke me up last night/early this morning, I was too groggy to appreciate it properly. That and having a cat snuggled up under your chin hiding her head from the bright lights and loud noise just doesn't make for quite as restful sleep as I would like. Or for storm enjoyment.

Made it to work at a reasonable time, was finished 2 meetings by 11, and have been pondering just what got accomplished. Actually, I think a lot did, which is why the pondering. What makes a meeting more productive than others? Focus. The right people there. More focus. And still more focus.

And no, I don't mean the car.
