He is too young to know what he's missing. And look at it this way ... because of this, 1. he was cheaper. 2. he will be cleaner, less obnoxious, and more cuddly 3. he's a cat, not a human and 4. aren't you glad I don't think humans should be treated the same way?
I don't know, since I didn't see him... But, well, perhaps. I doubt he was chained inside the kennel though... he was more likely climbing the walls and trying to eat the dog next door.
