So, today being the middle of the week, I decided to pick up an extra cup of coffee at lunch. Usually, just one in the morning and that's good. However, today, I made an exception.

Off I went to the local Tim Hortons' (Starbucks fans, hush.) This is not a complaint about Timmie's, just to be clear. I lined up in the drive through - there were only 2 cars ahead of me so it didn't seem so bad. As I waited, I noticed the line seemed to be going a bit slow. Didn't think anything of it.

Ordered my coffee and then got to wait again, until it was my turn at the window. At the window, I looked up, my change in hand to pay, to espy a police officer.

Yes, that's right. Fully uniformed and kinda cute, but definitely a police officer.

The fellow smiled at me and said, "you look kind of surprised to see me."

Uhm, yeah. Hello? How often do you see a police officer in the drive through window at your local Timmie's? Going through my head right then? ... But but but - I didn't do anything. I wonder if they're looking for someone. What sort of criminal would be going through a drive through for coffee and identifiable... how the heck would they capture ...

oh wait. It's camp day.
