Regarding Great Big Sea" something I've found that works with tickets is trying a few days before the concert in question. I know, it sounds retarded but two things factor in: people change their mind/have emergencies/other problems and cancel their tickets if bought online. The other thing is usually bands have X amount of tickets reserved for their own guests, sometimes their people cancel or they don't have as many people in certain cities so these tickets go up for sale and these are sometimes really good seats.
