Let's see...

Walking was fun last night and we didn't get soaked. That was a good thing, though it was very hot and humid.  Survived it though. Hah.

Work is work. It continues apace.

FFXI - didn't accomplish much yesterday. Got 3 lightning crystals out of my gardening brass pot. That amused me. Got myself and Connar killed in Dangruf Wadi (why do I keep wanting to call that Dandruff wadi, I don't know). Well, okay, really it was the nasty goblin butcher that killed us, but I think I inadvertently helped out. I'm not entirely sure though. It might have killed us both anyway. Oops? I guess it counts as a party wipe, even if there's only 2 people in the party. Double oops. Ah well, live and learn. I hate goblins. Oh, I did find it interesting that the level 14 summoner got aggro from the N. Gustaberg quadavs. They leave my warrior alone. Very interesting. ;) Stupid quadavs. Oh yeah. .. and who let the silly grub aggro? (Or maybe Connar attacked it, I'm not sure. *sticks out tongue* But really, what was it doing casting stone at me!??)

Still very tired though. I think a vacation is definitely in order.

*laughs* Most worms from here on out will aggro you by sound. Death isnt too bad. I dont get upset that I die, so no worries there. You should have seen how many times I died as War and Pld when leveling those ;)

As for last night,I have to share in the blame. I shouldnt have fought the mob at that location. You'll learn real quick to pick your camp spot and how to pull the mobs to that location instead of fighting the mob at their camp.

In any case, if we are gonna continue to duo party, I am gonna choose Pup instead of Smn when you level. I can sub Whm and throw cures as needed or trick my puppet out as a mage and have him heal while you and I wail on the mobs ;)

Worms aggro by sound. Well, darn. Though that's good to know. I was quite surprised by that stupid thing, to be honest. Not what I was expecting at all.

So far as getting dead - ... Well, since you're the tour guide, I thought that was your job? *ducks*

No seriously, I expect to make many mistakes or just plain out lose any number of times. ;) So, yeah, I expect to die a lot as I learn.

And you should have seen my rl reaction when that goblin ambusher spawned right on top of me. Yeesh! *snickers* It's probably a good thing there's no webcam on me. Though it was probably amusing. In any event, it didn't see us, which was good. But yeah, I think I learned ... don't fight the goblins where they spawn. ;) If nothing else, the next goblin showing up is distracting even if it doesn't see you.

Tactics and strategies - something I will still have to learn... cause I don't have a lot of experience at this sort of game in general, never mind in particular. ;)
